ABOUT ILFRACOMBE AND DISTRICT LIONS
The Lions have been a part of the local community since 1974 and during this time our fundraising activities have raised nearly £200,000. Nearly all of which has been used to support local good causes and people in need.
Our geographical area includes the beautiful villages of Combe Martin, Hele, Lee and West Down.
We meet at 7.00 pm on the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month at Ilfracombe Dive Club, Ropery Road, Ilfracombe EX34 9EF. Visitors and potential new members are always welcome. Contact us to learn more.

Because together we serve
The Ilfracombe and District Lions Club is a member of one of the largest worldwide voluntary organisations. We are men and women, young and not so young, the active and less active. We love nothing better than to step forward and use our resources to help others and make things happen.
We are probably best known for organising the ever-popular Ilfracombe Town Carnival and Swimarathon. And of course, our 'Dip for a Lion' tombola and 'Coconut Shy' can always be found at most town events such as The Round Table Birdman and Sea Ilfracombe Maritime Festival.
But in addition to our main fundraising activities, we are also extremely fortunate to have a fully equipped holiday home for people living with disability at Golden Coast Leisure Park.
